Before we go on to discuss each of the BASICs in detail, you need some crucial background information. Starting with how the data is collected, measured and evaluated within CSA's Safety Measurement System—the SMS.

There are two ways to navigate this course. The Next and Back buttons let you go backward or forward one page at a time.
