Scaffolds for Construction

Overview: Working with heavy equipment and building materials on the limited space of a scaffold is difficult. Falls from scaffolds can result in injuries ranging from sprains and bruises to death. OSHA requires scaffolds to be constructed and used according to the manufacturer’s instructions; so, you must be trained on both OSHA and the manufacturer’s requirements.
This online course is designed to provide you with an introduction to the types of scaffolds commonly used. This course will also teach you to identify hazards and the controls that keep those hazards from becoming tragedies.
