Oilfield Emergency and Incident Response

Course Length: 40 minutes

In times of emergency, the right response can save a life. Due to the remote nature of many oilfield locations, planning ahead and being prepared for any emergency situation is critical. This program discusses the types emergencies, hazardous conditions or incidents that may arise and prepares students to fulfill their responsibilities in difficult conditions or emergency situations.

This course was designed to meet and exceed the curriculum requirements necessary for IADC RigPass®, SafeGulf and SafeLand standardized orientation training program accreditation.

This course presents interactive instruction covering the following topical areas:

  • First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens and Staph Infection Prevention
  • Fire Prevention and Response
  • JSA, Simultaneous Operations and Permit to Work
  • Incident Reporting and Investigation for Oilfield Employees
