Scaffolding Safety for General Industry
This title incorporates necessary changes based on OSHA's "Walking-Working Surfaces" rule published November 18, 2016.
Course Length: 30 minutes
Overview: Working on the limited space of a scaffold is difficult. Falls from scaffolds can result in injuries ranging from sprains and bruises to death. OSHA requires scaffolds to be used according to the manufacturer's instructions; so, employees must be trained on both OSHA and the manufacturer's requirements.
Scaffolding Safety for General Industry is designed to provide employees with an introduction to commonly used scaffolds in general industry facilities for manufacturing and maintenance tasks. Specifically, this course identifies scaffold hazards and how to use scaffolds safely.
