Overview: A forklift is a powered, mechanical device that is used to move or lift loads. Although this seems like a simple task, forklifts can cause serious injury or death if they are misused or if the operator isn't properly trained on how to use the equipment safely.
Forklift Training: Equipment Inspections is designed to help you inspect a forklift in preparation for your shift, protecting yourself and your coworkers from the potential hazards associated with its use.
After completing this course, learners will be able to:
- Recognize when forklift inspections are required
- Explain what to look for when performing a pre-use inspection
