Overview:
Distraction occurs any time you take your eyes off the road, your hands off the wheel, or your mind off driving. Common distractions can be the phone, radio, even the navigation system. Anything a driver does-other than focusing on driving the vehicle safely-is a distraction.
Non-CDL Driver Training: Defensive Driving: Distracted Driving is designed to help CMV drivers learn how to recognize and avoid dangerous distractions.
Objectives:
After completing this course, learners will be able to:
