Electrical Safety: Qualified Person
Course Length: 20 minutes
Intended Audience: Any employee in any industry exposed to potential electrical hazards.
Overview: OSHA's electrical standards address concerns that electricity has long been recognized as a serious workplace hazard, exposing employees to such dangers as electric shock, electrocution, burns fires, and explosions. The OSHA electrical rules help minimize these potential hazards by specifying safety standards for the design and use of electrical equipment and systems. Qualified persons are especially responsible for protecting themselves and others from various electrical hazards.
Electrical Safety: Qualified Person is designed to prepare learners to act as a qualified person in repairing electrical systems and equipment.
