HAZWOPER: Fire Prevention & Protection is designed to address the fire basics at any hazardous waste cleanup site. Those basics include what a fire is, the dangers of fires, fire prevention strategies, fire protection systems, the special circumstances fire can present when combined with hazardous substances, and how to respond when a fire erupts at the worksite.

After completing this course, learners will be able to:
