Entry-Level Driver Training (Passenger Endorsement): ADA Compliance

Course Length: 22 minutes

Intended Audience: Drivers who are applying for an initial commercial driver's license (CDL) or drivers upgrading their current CDL.

Overview: Federal law and United States Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations require transportation providers, including most bus operators, to give persons with disabilities the same access to transportation services as everyone else. This means you must know how to comply with those laws and regulations to ensure that you do not discriminate against passengers with disabilities or special needs.

More than 50 million people in the United States have disabilities.

Entry-Level Driver Training (Passenger Endorsement): ADA Compliance is designed to help you learn about your obligations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and how to ensure all persons have the same opportunity for safe transportation.
