Intended Audience: Any learner who is in need of remedial training related to basic control of a CMV.
Overview: This Corrective Action Training module is designed to provide learners with remedial training related to basic control. Specifically, this course was designed to prepare drivers to use the controls to put the vehicle where they need it, at the speed in which they want to be operating.
Objectives
After completing this course, learners will be able to:
- Recognize how maintaining directional control can prevent a crash
- Understand how to control your vehicle's speed
- Describe activities that can take your focus away from driving
- Explain how to recognize an ineffective visual search
