Intended Audience: Drivers who are applying for an initial commercial driver's license (CDL) or drivers upgrading their current CDL.
Overview: Being able to communicate clearly and professionally is a skill every driver should develop.
This training is designed to help drivers understand how to navigate a roadside inspection with tips on communicating using verbal and non-verbal messages.
Objectives
After completing this training, learners will be able to:
- Describe the roadside vehicle inspection process
- Identify the impact that violating regulations has on your, and your carrier's, records
- Illustrate effective communication techniques when interacting with enforcement officials
