Canada Driver Training Identification and Diagnosis of Malfunctions
Course Length: 30 Minutes
Overview: Commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) are made up of many parts. Though these parts have individual jobs or functions, they work together to effectively and efficiently operate the vehicle.
Spotting defects and reporting them so they can be repaired can prevent an accident and costly on-the-road repairs. It can also prevent fines and out-of-service violations during enforcement inspections. Commercial drivers need to know what to look for when inspecting their vehicles.
Canada Driver Training Identification and Diagnosis of Malfunctions is designed to help commercial drivers understand the key components of their vehicles and how to identify defects.
This training is offered as a part of a more comprehensive curriculum on this topic. See the description for the Canada Driver Training: Driving Fundamentals Curriculum for additional information.
