Overview: Commercial drivers must do on-the-road inspections. However, they can be done quickly and easily as part of regular operations. Not only are they mandatory, but they are also a great way to spot problems early.
Law enforcement also conducts inspections on the road. These are called on-road enforcement inspections. Commercial drivers may encounter them regularly throughout their driving career.
