Overview: Abusing alcohol and drugs often has negative effects on a person's body and abilities. Those effects become a danger when you're driving a CMV. Every driver should know what the prohibitions are, how testing occurs, and what the consequences are for using alcohol and drugs.
Drug and Alcohol Testing is designed to help drivers understand what job duties pertain to testing, how and when the prohibitions apply, when certain tests are required, the processes they need to follow for testing, what happens if they violate an alcohol or drug prohibition, and the effects caused by alcohol and drug use.
Objectives:
After completing this training, learners will be able to:
