The Risk Management Program Training (RMP) focuses on managing and reducing the risks associated with certain hazardous substances and processes to protect the environment and the surrounding communities. Employers must play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining a successful RMP. The RMP focuses on preventing accidents involving toxic, flammable, and extremely hazardous chemicals. Many of the safety measures that protect workers from chemical accidents also protect the environment and surrounding communities.
